Krystii Melaine is a member of the Portrait Society of America.
She is now accepting portrait commissions throughout the USA.

"When Buffalo Roamed" was awarded an Honorable Mention
in the Members Only Competition
of the Portrait Society of America in January 2012.

"Circle Around" won the Western Award at the first Scottsdale Salon,
at Legacy Gallery, Scottsdale, Arizona, held April 21 to May 19, 2011.
The award was sponsored by Western Art Collector Magazine.
Guardian of the Absaroka won Best of Show 2D at NatureWorks Art Show in Tulsa Oklahoma on March 4th, 2011.
This painting was featured on the inside back page of the May issue of Southwest Art Magazine.
Krystii has been made an Honorary Member of the new
American Society of Traditional Artists.
Krystii was the proud winner of a merit award at Masters of the American West,
at the Autry National Center,
Los Angeles, in February 2011.
The book titled "Star Wars Art Visions" features Krystii's painting Fur Balls,
a portrait of Harrison Ford as Han Solo with the Ewoks.
The painting has been purchased by George Lucas for his personal art collection.

War and Peace, a 30"x30" portrait of a Native American warrior,
won Best of Show 2D at Heart of the West,
an invitational exhibition
held at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame
in Fort Worth Texas.
The painting was purchased by the Booth Museum of Western Art in Cartersville, Georgia, for its permanent collection.
